 Civic Wave’s purpose is to harness and empower the youth of the United States to advocate for legislation that advances civic education in our public-school system. Kailyn Gore, founder and rising first year in college, formed Civic Wave to build a coalition of students to advocate for their education by passing bills and spreading awareness about civics. Civic Wave believes that by investing in civic education, we are preparing all students, regardless of background or identity, to be informed, connected and engaged participants in our communities.
